The effort was in response to certain world leaders that the CIA wanted eliminated. The idea seems to be squashed for the moment, but there is always a chance that it could be resurrected. I hope this is not the case.

I certainly believe that our country must be protected. I also believe that targeted extermination of people will only lead to a lowering of our standards. Murder cannot be the answer to the problems we face. We must make more of an effort to find a reasonable solution to the problems we face.
