We recently moved into a new house and I noticed that it had a security system. The realtor told us to call ADT home security monitoring if we would like to get it activated. My husband travels a lot for work so I definitely got the alarm activated because it helps me feel safer while he’s gone. I really hate that he travels so much. He’s gone about 5-6 days of the week so we rarely ever have time to do anything fun. I would really like to take more vacations but with the way his schedule is that’s’ just not possible right now. I guess I should just be glad he has a job being since so many people don’t have a job right now but I just hate that he’s rarely ever home. I’m hoping the in a few months he can at least take a week off so that we can travel to the beach for a summer vacation, but I guess we will see if that works out.

The weather here has been so yucky for the last week. It is gray and cloudy outside. I haven’t seen the sun for days. The ground is slushy and muddy, and the rain just keeps coming. It’s not even pouring, it’s just like this continuous annoying drizzle. At first I welcomed the weather change, and found it cozy. I got a lot done indoors, like cleaning and baking bread. I finished a book I had been reading for awhile. I organized our closets. Now, I’m growing weary of the rain, and find myself spending hours in front of direct tv stamford. I have some books I need to return to the library, though, so I may get out in a little bit. I need to run by the grocery store and pick up some things for dinner this week as well. It’s just so much harder to do normal errands when it is raining outside. It is good, though, that we are getting rain. We’ve been in a drought off and on for the last few years.

I think that this is a good thing as many stores are trying to get rid of the merchandise they have before the new year sets in. there are no losers during this period and everyone wins.

She told me that she had just gotten off from work at the hospital. She works as a nurse and takes care of patients. Since I had commented on her clothes, she told me more about them. Aunt sherry and I finished our talk and I had to leave soon. It was great seeing her and it was hard to go out the door. I knew I would a plate of goodies to take home with me for the family. I am looking forward to the next time I see her and I am sure many other people feel the same.

Of course, Apple Computer introduced the concept with their iPad, but other companies have recently come out with their own designs. The Motorola Xoom is priced competitively and has some additional features not provided on the Apple model, such as a camera function on both the front and the back of the table, and a flash on the one in the back.

The price tag seems to range between $800 and $1,200, which is the same ballpark as a good laptop. I’ll have to go to the local electronics store and see them for myself. I might want one.

Since we have very similar taste in clothing, I knew that if I liked a pair of shoes, she probably would as well. When I saw a pair of australia boots, I knew I had found a winner. The boots were a big hit with her and I was glad to make her birthday special. I know she would do the same for me as she had in the past. We make a great team.

I had thought about some other items to get her such as a nice little outfit that I had found in a Victoria’s Secret store, but decided against it in the end. I don’t want her to think we are quite that close. In the end, I was happy to have helped Sandra with keeping up with the latest fashions and that was enough for me.

Now when I pay my bills, I spend a lot less time doing so. Instead of getting a cramped hand writing my address over and over, I just stick my labels on the envelope and go. Now that my new a/c compressor is installed, my car is nice and cool when I drive home from work. It’s a wonderful feeling to know that I don’t have to worry about getting hot every time I go somewhere. I’m glad I found the part I needed!
