From what I hear, the new tablets are all the rage. No one seems to be interested in buying desktop computers any more, and now even laptops may become obsolete if the tablets perform as well as promised.

Of course, Apple Computer introduced the concept with their iPad, but other companies have recently come out with their own designs. The Motorola Xoom is priced competitively and has some additional features not provided on the Apple model, such as a camera function on both the front and the back of the table, and a flash on the one in the back.

The price tag seems to range between $800 and $1,200, which is the same ballpark as a good laptop. I’ll have to go to the local electronics store and see them for myself. I might want one.

As always, there are some really mean people in the world. The latest example of this is hackers who are using the swine flu epidemic to spread their viruses. Many people have been affected by this latest scam. I hope that everyone will be very careful about the sites they choose to visit and the e-mails they want to open. I always say that its better to be safe than sorry.

The world has changed in many ways since I was growing up. One thing that has really changed a lot is the things you can see and hear on TV. I find myself constantly disappointed with the sex, violence, and foul language that dominate the airwaves these days. That’s why I was glad when I found a site called christianchatcity.com. It seems that need to develop some sort of system to remember them all! I like the new technologies as they make life easier and faster. But some things we do never seen to change, Such as human error!
