There are many times in life when a change is needed. This is happening with my cousin Sue. She is considering moving due to several reasons I will not mention now. Some of the more recent news around here is that my cousin Judy is moving to Texas. She was recently married and her new husband has decided to make a serious career change. The problem was that he is very busy all the time and Judy had to find them a house to move into. I thought I would give her a hand and help find just the right place.

I had a week off from work and so I went to Texas. We found a really nice real estate lady who showed us around. We had narrowed our choice down to a few homes but had some reservations. Of course, Apple Computer introduced the concept with their iPad, but other companies have recently come out with their own designs. The Motorola Xoom is priced competitively and has some additional features not provided on the Apple model, such as a camera function on both the front and the back of the table, and a flash on the one in the back.

The price tag seems to range between $800 and $1,200, which is the same ballpark as a good laptop. I’ll have to go to the local electronics store and see them for myself. I might want one.

As always, there are some really mean people in the world. The latest example of this is hackers who are using the swine flu epidemic to spread their viruses. Many people have been affected by this latest scam. I hope that everyone will be very careful about the sites they choose to visit and the e-mails they want to open. I always say that its better to be safe than sorry.
