We also purchased some green beads and hats to round out our costumes and we looked like green monsters. There were people everywhere and it was hard to get around but we found a good spot eventually. It was a great family day and I am looking forward to next year’s parade.

Many people love video games and defend them to the end. I for one don’t play them and would not tell anyone else what to do. I do however don not like them to be played at work. After all, I have to work and others should work as hard as I do.

My sons are having a few people over to our house and I plan to have a few snacks on hand for them. I am sure they will enjoy them. Food is always a hit with the guys and I am glad to see them eat.

My kids really like MTV and I don’t mind it that much but the show I like for them to watch the best is MADE. We recently got Direct TV Jacksonville and it’s a new channel for our family and I was really worried about the affect the show would have on my kids because I had heard MTV was just a horrible influence. As it turns out though, MADE is a really great show that teaches them they can be whatever they want to be and it’s got great lessons on setting goals and working for them. Who would have thought at this point in my life I’d be letting my kids watch an hour of TV a day? I’ve always been the one who was morally opposed to TV but you know, I guess it does offer some value as long as you know what your kids are watching. It’s important to note that all shows aren’t bad, just some, you’ve just got to stay on it.

She is still learning to get along with our other two cats. One is blackie and the other is minkze. They are all adjusting slowly but I think they’ll be fine. Well, I off to the supermarket to get some more food and treats!

I need to learn to say “no.” I have always been one of those people who take more on than they can handle and end up doing the grunt work in organizations. I remember this happening since I was in grade school. I would volunteer to do too much on group projects and would end up doing the whole thing. Right now, I have overcommitted myself with my job, at home, and at my church. I decided last week that this had to stop. In one day: I worked until lunchtime, ran home to let the people from Direct Star Tv in for installation, picked up lunch for everyone at the office, mailed some things for my husband, ran back to the office and worked until five, ran home and picked up sandwiches I made for our bridge group (even though I wasn’t playing that day), ran to the church for two meetings, ran home to fix dinner, and then had to go back to the office. I nearly had a mental break down at the end of the day. I realized I had just been doing too much. I have got to learn to say “no” or my schedule is going to kill me.

She told me that she had just gotten off from work at the hospital. She works as a nurse and takes care of patients. Since I had commented on her clothes, she told me more about them. She said she bought the clothes online from a site called http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/categories/Scrubs/. She liked the site because they sold nursing uniforms at a cheap price. She also liked the styles of clothes they had.

She said that when it comes to medical scrubs, this site had it all. They have a wide selection as well as low prices and they deliver the clothes to your home. The conversation quickly ended as she had to go but I still remember what she said. It’s nice to meet new people and broaden your outlook on life.

One problem with the album though is that it did not sell as well as it did last week. This has her sales team in an uproar. A record setting drop-off in record sales this week has them concerned. Nevertheless, she is doing fine and I am sure she will have a lot of success in the future.

Vacation is coming up soon! I’m a teacher and spring break is just around the corner and a few of my teacher friends and I are planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas!

I couldn’t be more excited, though I’ve been tasked with planning the whole trip, which is not my cup of tea. Thankfully I’ve got clearwirewimax4g so I can access the internet on my breaks at school, so I’ve ended up catching a couple of great sales that only lasted for a short time.

We’re in the market for an all inclusive resort and there are tons of options down there. All I really require is a place to lie on the beach in the sun and somewhere that serves delicious seafood – I have a feeling that won’t be too hard to find! My friends really want to schedule some adventures like zip lining or an ATV excursion but I would be just as happy in a hammock on the beach. Since I’m planning, it looks like my preferences are going to win out!
