With the economy being the way it has been lately, we quite concerned about how it may affect us. The company I work for has been doing pretty well throughout the downturn, and since I’m in a middle to high position, I consider my job to be “Safe”.

The problem is that my boyfriend works in construction. While he has had some work, there were a couple of weeks here and there when he didn’t get in forty hours. We are still doing alright and haven’t needed to make any major changes, but I’ll sure be glad when things pick up!
