Hustle and Bustle

We are heading into the home stretch for the big Christmas Day.
I have all my shopping done for gifts but still have to get to the grocery store so my girlfriend and I can bake a pie and some cookies and take them with us to my mom’s house for Christmas dinner.
The tree is up and decorated – at least until the cats attack some of the decorations and I have to patch it up. Last year I had a real tree and they climbed up in the trunk and knocked the whole thing over! This year I bought a fake tree with the lights already on it, so now all I have to worry about is the shiny balls that get knocked down for cat toys!
