We recently moved into a new house and I noticed that it had a security system. The realtor told us to call ADT home security monitoring if we would like to get it activated. My husband travels a lot for work so I definitely got the alarm activated because it helps me feel safer while he’s gone. I really hate that he travels so much. He’s gone about 5-6 days of the week so we rarely ever have time to do anything fun. I would really like to take more vacations but with the way his schedule is that’s’ just not possible right now. I guess I should just be glad he has a job being since so many people don’t have a job right now but I just hate that he’s rarely ever home. I’m hoping the in a few months he can at least take a week off so that we can travel to the beach for a summer vacation, but I guess we will see if that works out.

One thing that drives me crazy is my husband’s love of sports. I always knew that was interested in sports but I was not aware of the extent. He watches every game that comes on T.V. it doesn’t matter what sport it is, he watches it.

I am not against sports, but I am not a big fan. I can watch an occasional game but it is not my life. I would like to watch some regular T.V. once in a while. Is that too much to ask? I hope not.

Today was one of those days that everyone dreads. I had to sit down and pay the bills that have been piling up on my counter. It’s bad enough that I have to pay all the bills, it’s even worse in my opinion that I have to fill them all out. It’s a huge pain in the butt.

My bank account is suffering lately and all these bills do not seem to be stopping any time soon. I know it’s just a part of life but it’s getting old quickly.

The whole family was decked out in green. It was a little difficult for everyone to find something to wear but we all did in the end. We piled in the car and took off headed for Norfolk, Virginia. That’s where we waited for the parade to start and it was worth all the trouble. The parade was great and there were many sights to see.

We also purchased some green beads and hats to round out our costumes and we looked like green monsters. There were people everywhere and it was hard to get around but we found a good spot eventually. It was a great family day and I am looking forward to next year’s parade.

One thing that seems to be the rage lately is video games. It seems that every child I know plays them and I was surprised to learn that many adults play them too. This news was brought home to me when I caught one of my bosses playing a game at work.

Many people love video games and defend them to the end. I for one don’t play them and would not tell anyone else what to do. I do however don not like them to be played at work. After all, I have to work and others should work as hard as I do.
